Dreaming in Color
By Carol Cypher
Intermediate project: Proficiency in peyote stitch is a prerequisite.

Seven intriguing 3-D forms are prominently featured in this modular necklace. Invisible magnetic findings make it easy to change the length to suit the wearer's neckline or fancy. A bonus bangle with five components features custom-fitted joints. Students will learn to create forms that develop in a most intriguing way using circular peyote, connect them using an original stitch that provides suppleness while assuring that the forms lay correctly. A Polygon stitch creates a three-sided rope to finish the necklace.

Project will not be completed in class.
